Canadian Nationals?
« on: January 08, 2018, 07:05:30 PM »
Does anyone know if the2018 Canadian National Skating Championships, I think started today, will be broadcast on US television?  Having serious withdrawal symptoms now that the US Nats are over.

I've never seen a Canadian National on US TV before, so I'd imagine that the chances are slim unless you live at the border.

I use this ... http://heatherw.com/mk/sch.htm ... as a rough guide about what is to be televised on US TV. The next thing scheduled for broadcast is Europeans starting on Jan 17. Keep in mind that the networks often change times at the last minute.

Thanks Bill.  Your link is v. similar to this one from US figure skating: http://www.usfsa.org/events?id=84206  I was just hoping I'd over looked something.  I don't suppose Icenetwork covers the Canadian Nats.  If it did that might be a reason to finally break down and subscribe.

I don't see the Canadian Nationals on the icenetwork schedule.

Looks like it's on the CSN and TSN channels on Canadian TV.  They have an online stream, but it's geo-blocked.

Thanks Figure Spins.  I'll try those when I get home from work tonight and see if they work for the scheduled hockey games.  If so perhaps I'll see some Figure skating/Ice dancing action over the weekend!
