PSGA Training Video
« on: March 17, 2011, 07:42:25 AM »
The PSA has a few channels on dartfish.tv.  One is an old training film (transferred to digital) from the Professional Skaters Guild of America (PSGA), which was the original name of the PSA.

On this video, skaters perform each of the basic jumps.  They're shown in slow-motion.
I think the rink itself is fascinating; I wonder where it was filmed.  They have a wall of windows and rink walls that look like icebergs.

You may have to register (free) and log on before you can see the video.

Update: Joanne Schneider-Farris wrote up a nice list of the jumps shown during this video, along with descriptions of each jump.
