42. Does it work?
« on: March 14, 2012, 11:35:27 AM »
I am a "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" fan.  The title of this thread is a running joke the in last books of the four-book trilogy.  (Yes, four books, one trilogy - all part of the fun)

I think it's brilliant that someone decided to create an internet version of the Hitchhiker's Guide, which is an electronic tourbook/reference guide in the HGTG books, shows and movies.  Even more brilliant, it includes notes on figure skating that are fairly accurate, although I was expecting more snark or at least a "mostly harmless" comment.  (Which is the guidebook's assessment of Earth in the first book.)

Thanks for posting this - someone was just asking me yesterday if I knew of a site where they could learn the differences between the jumps - looks good to me!

I believe that h2g2 site was created by the BBC. I ran into a few years ago. My memory is that it has really good coverage about shows on BBC radio 4.
Yes I'm in with the 90's. I have a skating blog. http://icedoesntcare.blogspot.com/
