Title: Mr. Edge's Coach Database
Post by: Query on September 27, 2017, 12:26:50 AM
John Harmata ("Mr. Edge"), a well known skate tech, has been setting up a database of coaches for students to search. I don't know how many people outside the Chicago area, where he works, read his site, but AFAIK, getting listed is free. It doesn't look like many coaches have used this opportunity.

I think ISI, USFSA, and PSA (and perhaps other skating organizations in other countries) also have coach lists, but I think you have to join - which some students haven't yet done - to see them.

Your assumption that coaches are avoiding it is incorrect.  I've submitted my info three times since they first announced the resource.  I think they don't want to go outside their geographic area with the Directory or they don't have the ability to update easily, so the list is incomplete.
