Dear Athletes,

The deadlines for three grant and scholarship programs offered by U.S. Figure Skating are approaching quickly!

The  Joyce Komperda Athlete Support Fund awards scholarships to intermediate, novice and junior athletes who show exceptional potential and demonstrate financial need.
Application deadline: Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2011, at 4:30 p.m. MST

The U.S. Figure Skating Scholastic Honors Team is designed to recognize and provide support to competitive figure skaters who have excelled not only in their sport but in their academics and through their contributions to their communities. Junior and senior high school students are invited to apply for the 2012 Scholastic Honors Team.
Application deadline is Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, at 4:30 p.m. MST

The Memorial Fund’s Academic Skaters’ Assistance Program (ASAP) and Competitive Skater’s Assistance Program (CSAP) assist current and former skaters who are enrolled in an accredited college or university and are actively involved in the sport of figure skating. Support through ASAP is intended to be used to defray educational expenses such as tuition, fees, books and supplies.
Application deadline is Friday, Sept. 19, 2011, at 4:30 p.m. MST

Skaters may apply for more than one scholarship as long as they meet the qualifications outlined for each.

Please read the application instructions and frequently asked questions (FAQ) carefully before completing an application. Applications and supporting materials received after the indicated deadlines will not be considered.
