Polar Ice House Wake Forest, NC

This facility was formerly called the "Factory Ice House."  http://www.icehousewakeforest.com/

Here's a run-down:

. Facility is an industrial-style complex with entertainment, restaurants, boutique shopping and a mix of sports places.  (Indoor soccer, basketball, volleyball, martial arts and gymnastics studios in addition to the ice rink.

. Two sheets of ice with spectator seating on concrete stands. (Brrrr!)
. Both rinks are 200' x 85' with rounded corners and a hockey barrier  (NHL Sized)
. One rink has curling circles and hockey markings, the other just hockey markings.
. Lots of freestyle and public sessions
. Big Learn to Skate program with Bridge and Team skating sessions
. Home club is the Triangle FSC, which is also the home club at the Garner and Cary Polar Ice House locations.
. TFSC hosts clinics and workshops in addition to test sessions and competitions.
. Bathrooms are clean and well-maintained.
. Locker rooms are small
. Two party rooms and a snack bar with lots of picnic bench-tables in the lobby area. (A little crowded when there are a lot of people there)
. Rinks are cold and the ice is a little hard. (Great for hockey, though.)
