Title: Basic Skills Videos on YouTube
Post by: Isk8NYC on April 12, 2016, 02:26:55 PM
Found this on YouTube and I liked the simple "How to..." approach.  Would have liked more focus on upper body and head, but the demos are good and I like the teaching narrative.

(Search the user's videos for "USFSA Basic Skills" or scroll down/load earlier videos)

NB: The YouTube User is Colleen McQuaid, but the coach states that she's "Jenna for Skater's Landing TV."

A note to fellow Canadians who are beginning to skate, Swizzles are called Snowmen or Scalling in Canada.

Nice videos!  I like the way she makes her movements small much as a beginning skater would.

This will be good reference for a lot of the topics that come up in skatingforums!
