Planned Program Content
« on: January 30, 2016, 12:12:09 PM »
Just filling out the Planned Program Content form on the US Figure Skating Site, but I am confused as to whether it is necessary to add the music and music info. Can I just fill out my planned elements and not bother uploading the music? Thanks.  :D

You're talking about Adult Nationals?  You don't have to have the music stuff done by the deadline, but you do have to do it.

That music upload is what they will use to play your music at the competition, not a CD.

Oh! :o  Is that only for Sectionals/Nationals or for all IJS events (even at local competitions)? I have been turning in CDs, but they were 6.0 events.

Music submission depends on the competition, but I wouldn't be surprised if uploading becomes more ubiquitous over time.  Back up CDs are still a must, just in case!

For now, it's just for Sectionals (qualifying events) and Nationals.  For non-qualifying events at Adult Sectionals, you still need to bring a CD.  You also need to have a CD on hand as a backup at all competitions.

We did Broadmoor last year and they had the music uploaded the same. I really see the large comps doing this.
