Cotton Laces
« on: November 27, 2011, 07:48:27 PM »
I prefer cotton or cotton/nylon blend laces to all-nylon and I just found that Jenskates carries them:

Here's the kicker: they have them in black, white and beige!  Beige is really hard to find!

Didn't it used to be Peppermint Pattie?

Oh, I thought you meant the cotton-ish laces were my new logo, lol.  I changed the profile photo for Halloween and kept it for Thanksgiving.  They're my Klingbeil's - the photo's from last year sometime.

When I change my front porch decorations from leaves to greenery (all fake), I'll try to remember to change my avatar.

Well, hallelujah!! I looked on like 5 different sites for these (just noticed a little tear starting in one of my laces. . . ) and a couple of other things and it was very frustrating trying to find all three things I needed!

Yep. Forget nylon. In about 20 minutes of trying on boots a couple of years ago I tore up my hands!! Argh.

Thank you again for the recommendation for Jenskates. I got my laces, as well as a bunch of other necessary items (including about 20 pairs of OTB tights for a synchro team) and they arrived within THREE days--free shipping! I will definitely shop there again. They had great prices AND had all the different things I needed.

Excellent - glad I noticed that they had them.  I still can't get over their offering BEIGE cotton/poly laces!

Last month, I ordered the Mondor Revolution OTB tights (best price for 4 pair) from www.tidewaterice.com for my DDs.  I added two pair of cotton/poly laces in white to fill out the order and maximize shipping, so that's another resource to check.
