I skate in the UK, my rink reccently increaed practice ice from £4 per session (pay in cash to the head coach/your lesson coach) to £5 per session, tickets bought in advance from reception, however you can buy 11 tickets for £50.
A ticket covers the whole session, regardless of how long it is or how long you skate
Public skating is about £6-7 per session plus skate hire if needed (about £1.50-£2)
The other rink I skate at is £7 per patch session, paid to your regular coach even if you're not having a lesson that session. Coaches keep the money, so can offer discounts etc at their discretion (I don't pay at all
) Public skating is about the same, not sure about skate hire.
A rink I have been to a couple of times charges about £5 per hour for practice ice (paying on the day at reception, not sure if they do advance or bulk buying dicsounts.)
