This is interesting: a NQ competition can use a modified IJS for the lower test levels.

I noticed in my area you can choose how you want to be scored this year.  I haven't seen it in practice yet, but think the idea is interesting - to start out at ijs sounds like a good idea if you are planning on being a competitive skater.  My poor rusty brain though!  I JUST figured out the 6.0 stuff!

That isnt new, they just changed some of the numbers. We have seen non quaf IJS low levels on the west coast for three or four years now.

that is about as clear as mud! 

My dd has a figure skating video game.  You put in all the moves your skater will do in program and it calculates the points and they you skate the game/program/whatever.  Is there any computer program that does this?
