Only local team I know of, Ice Wines, specifically call themselves  LADIES adult synchro team. Keep the boys away, I guess. Not much point in pursuing it at this point.... :-\

Possibly because they don't know any better and have never been approached.  At the very least you could ask them if you were interested.

Most teams are just used to only having women available and wanting to skate.  Our top team has a guy on it so it is very popular right now to have a token male. 

My team is competing against Ice Wine this weekend.  If I get a chance maybe I can ask if they'd be interested in a guy.

Most teams are happy to have a guy.  They are typically stronger than women and are good anchors!  :)
