• Candidate must be highly motivated and a self-starter.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with Great Plains accounting software is a plus.
• Travel may be required.

The Chevy Chase Club, a private full service country club is currently seeking Figure Skating Instructors for our outdoor ice rink.  Instruction includes both group lessons (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday afternoons) as well as private lessons (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday afternoons).   Qualified candidates will have experience with learn to skate group lessons as well as instruction for advanced skaters including choreography.   This is a seasonal position working on our outdoor rink, Mid-October to March.

Leads all FSH Fund Raising Activities Related to Foundation and Government Grants as well as assist with Individual Donor Cultivation and Stewardship.  Lead and manage all fund raising efforts in securing foundation and government grants. Goal is $600,000 growing to $800,000.

Effectively instruct a class that meets the needs of the public in the ice skating area, including, but not limited to, basic skating skills, figure skating, and hockey.

Supervise class participants to insure participant safety and compliance with appropriate policies.

Maintain appropriate records associated with the class.

Communicate with the public regarding specific class information.

Perform appropriate tasks associated with class set-up, tear-down, and safeguarding of the facility.

Prepare and utilize class outline and recommend appropriate changes for future sessions.

Knowledge of procedures, methods, and techniques of instruction in the area of expertise.

Knowledge of principles of safety in the area of expertise.
