Just about anything will beat our local quonset-hut rink, except for travel time.

Great bucket list!  I've been to Somerset House but in the summer not the winter so no skating for us.  I'm curious on the French rink-it seems to have a separate area that was blocked off with permanent rails.  I wonder if that's for lessons? Beginners?  DJ?
