Very informative!  I keep thinking I should do an off ice class of some sort (besides the home exercises I'm not very good about doing), but I've been waffling among ballet, yoga, pilates, etc.  This nudges me back towards ballet.

I have been considering beginning adult ballet lessons for training. A new 6 week session starts mid February at a local dance studio.

Also, does anyone have an opinion on barre classes for training? The same dance studio is going to offer beginning barre classes next week. Unfortunately the time overlaps with the ballet class so I would have to pick one or the other if I pursue either one.
