Title: New Forum: The Video Vault
Post by: Isk8NYC on August 31, 2011, 09:34:59 AM
Our first-anniversary of the new board merited something new: The Video Vault, a members-only forum for video skating critiques.

NB: To stay above the Internet Child Safety restrictions, only members 16 or older can access the Video Vault.

I prefer this; note that there have been issues, in Canada at least, where individuals have posted videos of themselves with other skaters in the background, and have gotten into trouble, i.e. people didn't want their kid OR skater being on the internet.  So, keeping it private would be good :)

Good point: try not to capture everyone at the rink on video.  Another thing to keep in mind is that some rinks do not allow ANY videorecording, for that very reason.
