The sale is run by a charity that teaches LTS classes. People sometimes donate used or new skating equipment and outfits, some of it top quality. But I don't know the details of this sale.

I used to volunteer with them. They are always looking for more volunteer skating instructors (as I used to be), of varying skill levels. If you want practice teaching kids, it is good experience.

I know Fort Dupont Ice Arena isn't in the best neighborhood, but there are usually police in the parking lot at such events - I never felt threatened.
