Skate America 2016 Post Mortem (Expect Spoilers)
« on: October 23, 2016, 06:53:14 PM »
So yeah, Ashely Wagner looked real nice,  love the way she uses her hips to skate.   She's skating with great maturity these days.   Looking relaxed and polished.

Mariah Bell had a blinder of a competition.  Bet she can't stop smiling.

For me the highlight was Hubbell/Donohue's FD.   Only the third skating program ever to make me cry (after the Shib's Fix You, and a US roller dance pair whose names escapes me who did a Twilight inspired FD at this years worlds).   The rule is, if you make me cry, you win in my books  :'(.    The Shibs new Evolution program was sublime, but didn't have the same emotional impact on me.

Haven't been through the men's or pairs free yet.
