Nancy Kerrigan's Skating Fundamentals Video
« on: September 15, 2010, 10:47:34 PM »
Things that make me go "hmmmm...."

This youtube video is a well-intended tutorial aimed at low-level skaters.
The title?  "Skating Fundamentals."  Okay.  I'm watching...looks good...

In the middle of the video, someone spliced in this wicked footwork sequence with a beautiful Mazurka (I think - don't quote me) and a stag jump that just floated through the air across the end of the rink.

Fundamentals indeed, lol.

I noticed several Nancy Kerrigan skating videos on YouTube that were broadcast during her TV show.  The only one I found other than the one above that actually explains a skating move is:

I saw something on YouTube about this - she hosted a few short video segments on ABC during one of the Olympics.  I haven't been able to locate the videos from it, though.  In the comments on teh video you linked, it says to search for "ABC Ice Moves".
