Skechers Bella Ballerina Sneakers

These are only for little kids, but they're intriguing: there's a small disc at the front of the shoe/sneaker that lets the wearer "spin."  Some early reports say that they're dangerous, but I think they might be useful as a training tool.

I tried on a pair of the Skechers Tone-Up sneakers last month and thought that the bump-outs on the ball and heel of the foot would be good for practicing three turns, lol.

Wow that sounds insanely dangerous!  Worse than heelies.

I can wear kids sizes, if anyone wants to buy me a pair, I'll try them out.  But it seems like the spinning is centered in an area that wouldn't really mock either ballet OR skating.

Watch eBay - I'll bet you find a newish pair for cheap once school starts and the administrators ban these like they did Heelies.

It's in the spot that most people use for spin trainers, although they should be off-center to simulate the edge.

Higher up the foot.  Though I guess it is in the spot most recreational dancers who don't have a high demi-pointe turn on.
