Skating jackets?
« on: June 27, 2011, 01:01:55 PM »
I'm looking for a new skating jacket, i've looked in sports shops but couldn't find what I'm after.
Something like this
http://www.prosedgesports.com/p-1372-j37-contrast-stitched-fitted-jacket.aspx

I just want a jacket made with that type of material so it won't get soaking wet on the ice (my skating pants are made of that fabric i think)

I may be wrong but do they make cycling jackets like that, so they're fitted and slightly stretchy but breathable, if you know what I mean.
Or I think they make them for the gym too?

Anyone recomend any shops, i've tried ones in the UK like JJB sports, JD, sportdirect etc.  any good online shops?

What size are you? I have exactly that jacket (purple stripe in AM) and am thinking of selling it.

I'm not sure what size i'd be on the US chart but I'm a UK size 10, but i'd probably want something like a size 6-8 so it'll be tighter fitting for when i'm skating, unless they're already made smaller for a tighter fitting.

I'm 5'8" if that helps :P

i got one at forever 21 that i really like. lululemon seems to be popular at my rink, but it is expensive. but i have some pants and tanks from lulu and i love them, so i think their stuff is definitely worth the hefty price!
