Skating in/near New Orleans?
« on: May 27, 2016, 02:39:04 PM »
I'm going to be in New Orleans later this summer for a conference.  So far as I can tell, there are only three rinks in the region- a seasonal one in Baton Rouge, and two in/near Lafayette.  Have I missed any?  Any feedback on the two in Lafayette?  (Louisiana Hockeyplex and Planet Ice Rink)  I'm not sure how I'd get myself out there from downtown New Orleans, but I figure it's at least worth considering.

My previous research found no ice rinks in New Orleans.  Do not listen to anyone who tells you "But we have a professional hockey team!"  That does not exist any more.
