Is there a place to put competition results? I wore my purple dress at the Skating Club of Wilmington's Autumn Skate competition today and got gold! I skated alone in the adult no-test freestyle category, but I was told I was skating against the book and could get gold, silver or bronze depending on how my skating compared with the book.

Mod note: topic split out and moved to "On the Boards."

CONGRATS!!!  Good for you!
The SCW always puts on a great competition. So cool that they offered Adult No-test.
So how did the dress work out?

If you have Test Video, there's a test video forum for that. If you don't have video just start a thread in the On Ice forum.

Thanks so much, MadMac and AgnesNitt.

The weather was very mild, so it was warm enough in the rink to wear a short-sleeve dress. I had my hair styled extra curly and wore a glittery hair band, so I really felt like an ice princess out there. Even though I had never skated in front of anyone before, having a friend and a coach there with me helped me to focus. I only got nervous as I was leaving the ice.

Congrats on winning gold! I love that rink, it is typically a bit warmer than some of the others in the area. Your dress is very pretty and suits you well.

Thanks, Skate@Delaware. You helped me find the place where I got my dress. I don't think I would have been as confident if I didn't feel good in the dress.
