How are IJS Critique Sessions usually organized? I've seen different processes in different competition announcements, so I thought I'd ask what works best?

I received a critique last month. I skated my program like normal and received my protocols. Then after my group was over, I met with 2 judges that went over their feedback with me. My coach was there too so she could hear everything and ask questions. I liked this setup since it was informal and in a closed off room (did not take up time on the ice). My critique lasted about 5-10 minutes.

How did you sign up for the critique session?
Was it held right after your event finished or at a different time?
In what order were the skaters reviewed?
Did you bring the protocol with you or did they have them in the room already?
I'm trying to gather info for future competitions.

Answers:
I was the only skater in my event so the LOC offered me a critique. My other choice was to withdraw and get a full refund. I simply emailed the organizer and did not sign up separately (I know this doesn't help with your planning!).
The critiques were offered after all the skaters in my warmup were done performing. I was grouped with some juvenile kids. After all the juvenile skaters finished, we went to a closed off judges room for the critique.
Ideally, I would have had my protocol for the critique but it wasn't available yet. But, the judges had extensive notes on the GOE they awarded for the technical components and the PCS. I simply wasn't able to see my final overall score.
The order of the critique was offered in the order we skated.

I have seen them several different ways so its just going to depend on how you want to do it.
You dont need protocols, judges can just write notes.
At Broadmoor you stand in line and wait your turn. Can be at least an hour.
Sometimes after event, sometimes much later. Depends on when the judges are free.
