2011 goals:1)
Finally make myself a free program!
2) Test level 1 field moves, elements, and free program
3) Test level 2 field moves, elements, and free program
4) Test level 3 field moves, elements, and free program
5) Land lutz
6) Land axel
7) Start doubles (this is getting hopeful, but you never know...)
8 ) Start layback
9) Start back camel or back sit
but since this thread is all about
resolutions:
1) Go to the gym at least once a week
2) Get to the rink at least twice a week
3) Do 15 mins of off ice (especially squats & stretches) every second day, or every day if possible.
4) Warm up for at least 5-10mins off ice before each session, no matter if I am late.
5) Spend at least the first 10mins of ice on field moves, and then repeat for 10mins later in the session. This brings me onto...
6) Plan (only in my head) how I will use my time each session I go to, be strict about practicing things I don't like
7) Concentrate on doing footwork skills and turns in each direction equally, avoid one-sidedness...
8 ) Write down exercises/things my coach sets me to practice, so I don't forget, and then
actually practice them9) When I fall, I should get back up ASAP (I have this bad habit of just sitting there if it is a quiet session)
