I've been so crazy-busy with work, I didn't do anything for this competition.  I even missed the USFSA Fantasy Skating entry deadline.  Thanks for starting the thread and posting results, Artemis.

Yoiks, complete meltdown for Alex & Mitch. I had thought that in this field they'd have a shot at the podium ... [/spoiler]

I'm watching the Ladies SP now - lots of little mistakes from the veterans.

close race though.

Woah, bit of a train wreck for the dance event -- 3 pairs withdrew after the short dance. Federica Faiella/Massimo Scali because "he was suffering from lumbago." Madison Hubbell/Keiffer Hubbell withdrew because he was having back pain. Alexandra Paul/Mitchell Islam had to quit because she had a muscle injury was aggravated in the morning practice. (I had expected Alex & Mitch to be higher in the standings after the short dance, but the injury would explain their multiple deductions.)

Just caught the tail end of the Cup of Russia on Universal Sports. I only saw Chan and Abbott.

Two of the most boring skaters I've ever seen. Dull music, boring costumes.  Geeze I miss Johnny Wier.

I only caught Verner's performance on Youtube. His Sp was fine, but the music cuts in his FS were abrupt (and dare I say amateurish), still he's still  hot s** on ice. He's also got Evan's problem of hunching his shoulders . Geeze I miss Johnny Wier--he had such balletic attention to hie arm positions.
Yes I'm in with the 90's. I have a skating blog. http://icedoesntcare.blogspot.com/
