Awesome!  I think I will try to go.  I'll be club president, so it would make sense for me to be there.  Also, my grandmother lives in Charleston, so I can visit her on the same trip.  She would just be thrilled to have me.

Governing Council revised dates and Announcement are on the USFSA website:

No proposals or details as yet.

There is a proposal on the table to have GC every other year instead of annually.  That's going to be explained in more detail in March.  I heard about it through the Eastern Section conference call:

In case anyone doesn't know, the proposal to change the format and schedule of GC did not pass. The full report of action should be posted on the USFSA website soon.

As far as adult skating goes, the Adult Committee's proposals (mostly about the well-balanced program requirements) passed. I remember one change was to limit the number of spins in Bronze to 2 (previous max was 3).

Test limits proposal ammended so that those who have qualified at the I/N Championship level are precluded from skating Gold (Intermediate FS test only)
