Blade Guard Reference

I found a few links on the web that explain how to measure and assemble two-piece blade guards.

IMO, The fit should be snug so that it doesn't "slap" when you walk - that scratches the chrome on the blade. If the guard is too loose, just move the screw over one hole.  The gap between the pieces when the guards are on the blade, is okay.

You should check the screws monthly because they do loosen up.
