WPLJ used to have an DJ named Rocky Allen, whose program included a HILARIOUS "horserace" bit with pedestrians crossing 34th Street.  It was the best part of my evening drive!  "Aaaand we're off!  It's Lady in Stillettos behind Messenger Boy but OOOOHHHH!  From the back of pack comes Business Dude with Backpack!"  I still laugh when I think of that bit.

I'm going to guess that the lady we called "The Princess" has gone to that great ice rink in the sky.  If you've never seen her, she was about 80 (about 15 years ago :)), wore a longer skating dress, with a lot of chiffon, as a skirt and on the sleeves.  She would skate around a bit, stop and take a bow...  Oh and she wore a tiara on her head.
