Best Solo Exhibition/Show Numbers
« on: March 12, 2016, 04:14:05 PM »
Sure there's lots of great pairs exhibition pieces out there, but what about solo performances?

There are some of my routines, favourites largely bacause they're nothing like the usual tired recycled SP that most competitive skaters trot out as a gala piece.

And for pure fun value, and because you can never have too much RW:

Pure class.   Thanks Peggy for reminding me again of the point of this whole insane enterprise.

Just watched the performance from Ashley Wagner.

It was a lovely departure from the usual skating with music to skating to music. So on the point, just lovely!

Agreed.  For some reason Gracie Gold's Firebird program (even when she did it really well, at the US Championship) doesn't really grab me, but I could watch this one over and over.  I have a feeling it's even better if you know anything about Moulin Rouge, which I don't.

*the show program 'One more Night'
The little details were just on!

I saw Gracy Gold's 'Let it Go' on youtube, it was just so sad to watch.

Maybe it's a matter of maturity?
