Forgotten Skaters: Betty Callaway
« on: July 25, 2011, 05:52:26 PM »
Betty Callaway started out as a show skater, then along with her husband Roy, turned to coaching. Perhaps her most famous students in the English speaking world were Torvill and Dean. It was she who coached them through the Olympics. She passed away June 27, 2011 after a decade of suffering with Alzheimer's.

Yes I'm in with the 90's. I have a skating blog. http://icedoesntcare.blogspot.com/
