Riverbank State Park in NYC
« on: January 25, 2017, 10:32:32 AM »
Hey everyone!

This is for NYC skaters! Has anyone ever tried the freeksate at Riverbank State Park in NYC (Harlem)? They just offer it once a week - Thursdays from 8-9. It is $12. I went last week after putting it off for a while and it's INCREDIBLE! The rink is almost completely empty and it's a full size rink.

The only downside is that it's outside, so if it's cold out it's... cold. But otherwise it's amazing. Highly recommended!

Hi Caroline,

Please comment on the quality of the ice and any other pertinent details.

One hour a week is pretty disappointing.  AM or PM?
