back bottoms of heels numb
« on: March 01, 2013, 03:17:17 AM »
Has anyone ever had the back bottom of their heels numb after skating? I took my skates off today and they were that way - I didn't notice it with the skates on, and the backs/heels of the skates are not too tight.

Perhaps you tied your skates too tight in other areas that it cut off circulation in the heel? Dunno, just a guess.

If having them too tight in the toe box could do that.... ?

Sometimes my heel feels weird after skating too. But I noticed it only happens if I put my boot on without paying attention to my sock being to loose and creased up under the heel.
