Evelyn Kramer, aka the Spin Doctor, is conducting an online seminar tonight (2/16/2022) via Zoom.  It's being hosted by System of Skating, which is an online coaching site founded by Mimi Wacholder.  Both coaches are from Lake Placid and some of our members have attended their seminars in person in that historic city.  (The renovations to the Olympic Center are almost done!)

Tonight's seminar cost is $29 per person and the Zoom info is sent after the payment has been completed on the System of Skating website.

IMPORTANT: I added the item to my "cart" multiple times and didn't see a cart link or icon anywhere on the screen.  (Win 10, Firefox)
As a computer geek, I took a chance and guessed this URL: https://www.systemofskating.com/cart -- that brought up my cart and allowed me to pay!

Side note:
I saw this on FB this morning and to be honest, my main impetus for registering at the last minute is to repay her for skatingforums.com using her name in vain all these years!  One of our post-count titles is "Wearing Evelyn Kramer's Coat."  If you have between 625 and 726 posts on sf, that category title appears under your name.  AussieSkater, Lutefish and Christy are all in the "Wearing Evelyn Kramer's Coat" post-count category right now.

The backstory, involving the always-entertaining but oddly absent AgnesNitt, if you're interested:

Hope some of our members have a chance to join tonight!  Give us a shout out!

I enjoyed this presentation - Evelyn Kramer is witty and, like most NY'ers, a bit snarky.  She bemoaned the fact that no one masters a basic sit spin anymore - they are all doing variations like broken leg, pancake, etc.

Has anyone ever heard of a "French Toast" sit spin?  She mentioned it, but I've never heard the phrase before - is it a pancake position?

French toast, pancakes. You are making me hungry - stop it!  ;D

Haven't heard of a French Toast spin though.
