Saw these announced by the USFS Adult Committee on Twitter this week. I don't think they've been posted here yet.

I am excited about the location for Eastern Sectionals! Close enough for me to easily go - only like a 3hr drive!

Is sectionals as fun as nationals? I've never been to an adult only competition, and Springfield is only about 3.5 hours from me.  Might be worth putting programs together.

Yes! Although it's a bit more time constrained due to it only being a weekend, it's a ton of fun. I really enjoy Sectionals every year, and many people do Sectionals and not Nationals. The atmosphere of an all adult competition is great, so I think you would enjoy it if you went.

I may just be going to Sectionals this year, due to money concerns.  Sectionals is drivable, Nationals is not!  2015 as well, though I'd love to go to Salt Lake City.  But I have a really good time at both competitions.  I love watching all the freeskates at different levels.  There are some pretty amazing adult skaters!

Yes, you should go!   My friends had great fun competing at Mids this year, and while the 2014 Mids aren't going to work out for me (too far), 2015 will.  It's an 8 hour drive, and I have plenty of time to pass the tests I've been putting off, and get my skating where I want it before then.

Mids and Nationals are both on my bucket list, but SLC may be out of reach.  I may have to see how this year goes, and where the 2016 events are.
