One of my DD's passed her Dutch Waltz and Rhythm Blues tests this morning with her coach partnering her. She passed the Canasta Tango a few months ago, so now she's done with her Preliminary dances and moving on to Pre-Bronze with a detour for Prel Moves and some freestyle lessons.
She picked out the dress she wanted to wear, which fit just right, although the sweater was already outgrown. It was a dress that Sk8dreams passed down to us a few years ago. I have to say that it was a huge hit in the rink! Everyone (even strangers!) commented on how unique it was and how perfect for a young skater doing dance: no glitz, well-fitted, high neckline, long sleeves, good skirt length. Her coach wore a black velvet dress with a longer skirt. They looked really cute together.
Thanks, sk8dreams!
