There are some Israeli's on FSU saying it's not really that big of a deal, apparently.

I read a similar article today.  While it may not be a big deal for him to go to a summer camp-style prison,it's still a loss of training time.

It makes me wonder if Israel isn't that into figure skating.  Wasn't Israel entitled to a Ladies' spot last year at Worlds, but they chose not to send anyone, even with a skater ready to go?

For some reason I'm recalling that it was the Olympics they declined to send a skater to (prior to worlds).. which is why Cheltzie Lee went from AU.
