Title: Buckeye Open 2017
Post by: Isk8NYC on September 26, 2017, 09:13:44 AM
The Buckeye Open is a very popular, all-adult competition that has run for many years.  This year's competition is part of the US Figure Skating Adult Competition Series, so points can be earned to qualify for the series' final competition. (Must register via USFSA link)  In addition to free skate, spins, jump, showcase, pairs, solo/partnered dance and compulsory moves, they're offering team events and "extemporaneous improvisation."  IJS is offered for Silver and above.  (Freeskate/Spin events)  All other events are 6.0.

ETA: OOO000ooo...they have merchandise (shirts, mugs) and good luck ads, but they also have a Free Skate Critique for $10.  That's a great price!
There's a great competitors' party planned at the Corner Alley (Uptown Location): Bowling, Food, and Fun!
