Where do I find Annie's Edges?
« on: August 22, 2014, 03:31:14 AM »
Is this program still in existence?  I'd like to propose it as a 2-week workshop for my club during one of the school holidays.  I have been searching the web, and found lots of articles and even a short slide show, but no information on how to contact Anne Schelter directly or order the DVD set.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

ooh, and as an aside- rink opens NEXT WEEK  wakka wakka [happy dance]

I think she still works with Nexxice, and if she doesn't some of their former skaters should be able to help teach.

If you search for "Annie's Edges" from this forum's home page, you will see 3 other threads, which may or may not be useful:

(I posted to the last on that list)

FWIIW, a lot of my past coaches have used some of these exercises, especially Russian coaches. I have no idea whether Annie originated all of them.

You can also look at any search engine for +"Anne Schelter", e.g.,

https://www.google.com/search?client=opera&q=a+%2B%22Anne+Schelter+%22&sourceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&channel=suggest&gws_rd=ssl#channel=suggest&q=%2B%22Anne+Schelter%22

E.g., this site

  http://www.usfsa.org/Content/Teaching%20Technique%20in%20Turns.pdf

mention's Annie's new DVD (out yet??), and gives annie's contact info as atthefarm@sympatico.ca

Good luck.
