Please stop the commentary!
« on: January 27, 2011, 07:32:21 PM »
Those little personal comments they are giving at the arena during the warm-ups are making me cringe!  I feel like we're watching the Miss United States pageant from the movie 'Miss Congeniality'  88)

I'd rather hear about their training programs, more stuff about the skating, not their personal lives.  Maybe a mention of what grade they are in, if it is the skater's first appearance at that level at nationals, etc.

Oh poo- they're doing commentary during the skating for the ladies' short.  Blech.  I wish there was a way to turn it off, without losing the music!

I'd really like to see all the TV broadcasts of skating come with both the regular commentary and the sound without commentary on the SAP setting.

Since I refused to pay for IN this year, I'm spared for the moment.  Since I get to go Ladies LP, and Mens SP/LP over the next three days, I'm thrilled that I can see it live without the commentary.

I guess I could record the sound, but knowing my luck, you'll hear people arguing and complaining.

Have a great time, it's so different when you're there live!
