Looking at the ISI site, I noticed that at least one rink has hired many amazingly high level coaches for their 5 day summer camp (last session starts today; there is a lower level camp (beginners to axels) starting 7/31/17):

You will spend over $500! - but it might be fun...

But look at the private lesson prices for the elite coaches: http://assets.ngin.com/attachments/document/0116/6687/Follow_Up_Packet.pdf

Wow...

I guess the LA area has a fair number of figure skaters with money to burn.

If you do too, perhaps the best coaches might already be booked - maybe you should wait til next year.

Are there other workshops or camps that can afford so many high level people?

I think they are mostly local coaches.  People move from all over the world to train at that facility year-round.

The freestyle sessions must be fun to watch.

Even the publics are a bit pricy. But perhaps many people who can afford to live in LA wouldn't notice.

In contrast, the rink I skate at most no longer has any world class skaters or coaches. :( We never had that many.
