Dd had music but I couldn't find a nice cut for a minute and 38 seconds.  It just sounded chopped up.

Maybe more in the line of Sing Sing Sing....(but not that one because a lot of skaters use it).

I'd suggest looking through some movie soundtracks and cirque du soeil soundtracks. I have skated to both and there are tons of options!

A lot of early "quick tempo" Jitterbug / Jive dance music was around 220 or 230 bpm.

Try to skate in rhythm to that!

There are some very fast Dueling Banjos performances out there - but the music doesn't have much dynamic range.

Oh - you didn't mean that fast?  :)

LOL!  I don't think she can pull off banjos.  I've been looking for music (no vocals) and still coming up short.  I'm going to see if a friend can look at her first choice and see something I'm not seeing to make it work. She would be happy to have last year's music as well, it was her favorite...we'll talk to her coaches more.

You can find Scruggs and Martin's well known Dueling Banjos at

That's a little slower.

Mairead Nesbitt (a violinist who played the beautiful theme to the Civil War history TV series) did a nice "Contradiction" piece too

which goes fairly fast.

Hmmm ... those recent suggestions made me think of River Dance.  That music is *definitely* well suited to fast footwork!  And the music does have dramatic high points.

Here's a video where the music starts at about 0:36: (with the sound of the dancers footwork included).

And here's a site with music clips without the footwork sounds:  http://www.riverdance.com/music/
