I met an adult man who told me he spent $10K a year playing in what I would consider to be  a rec level hockey team. Ditto for the father of a synchro skater.

I think if I added up all my gas costs, I might  get up to $5K Coaching fees alone are $3800. Test fees are so seldom they're inconsequential.
