Jackson premiere with Matrix Legacy blade... Update
« on: October 14, 2012, 11:18:30 PM »
Dd is in her new boots and blades. She really likes them and the break in has gone really well! The stiffness has not bothered her at all. Her jumps are better and she is learning harder spins. The only problem she has had is with her tongue. The thin sides cut into her ankles. The landing foot is worse. She wears a bunga pad, a bandaid and uses make up pads too. Has anyone else has this issue in these boots? Other then that, she has been really happy with her new boots. I think it helped that these boots were heat molded to her feet. She never had to leave the top eye undone either.

She is also enjoying her new blades. She had no issue at all adjusting to the 8 foot rocker on the Matrix blade. The toe pick on the Legacy isn't much different from the pick on the MK Professional blade, so that was also an easy transition.

Dd's coach is also happy with this choice. She has seen improvement over the last 3 weeks. Ed's axels look much prettier and she's landing new doubles. Knee bend is there too. Over all, this has been a good choice!
