Icenetwork reported (on Facebook) that Ludmila Belousova-Protopopov passed away at the age of 81.

Oh that's so sad. When I was at Lake Placid I only saw her teaching (with her husband) one student the whole week.

Her poor husband is on his own now. And they didn't have any children.
