Northern Ice and Dance reviewed these blades.  The Phoenix Gold is a Gold Seal profile.  The Phoenix 99 has a Pattern 99 profile.  The bottom toe pick is slightly different and the blades are very stiff, which is interesting considering the Revolution versions provided flexibility for absorbing impact upon landing.  Different direction.  The retailer posted a photo of the boxed Phoenix 99 on Facebook with the comment:
