I don't see a problem with a company promoting their product with a post in this forum.
We don't want to see random spamming of items/sites unrelated to skating and definitely nothing offensive. Violators will be reported, their IDs/IPs banned and their posts removed.
As a definition, if a spambot comes onto skatingforums and posts about golf clubs, report the post and we'll get them gone. However, if a person posts about a skating-related service or item, it's not spam, it's marketing. There's no reason to report them.
If you have something you want to sell/give/trade or are looking for something, it's okay to post it in this forum. Logically, caveat emptor: buyer beware. Skatingforums takes no responsibility for anything posted that you buy and are unhappy with, so be careful.
Be especially careful in buying/selling with posters who aren't regular skatingforums members.
This is just like any internet site, such as craigslist: check before you buy anything.
