You're absolutely right, kssk8fan.  The topic started as an IJS discussion and we forgot to switch gears when Sierra posed her question about No Test events, which are judged under 6.0.  Sorry about that.

Is there a limit on the loops allowed in combination?

It all depends on your individual competition level.  If you are a Junior or Senior level skater, you are limited in the number of triple jumps you can repeat, but you can do as many double loops and double toes in combination as you like.  If you are  Juvenile skater, you can repeat as many single jumps as you like.  As a U.S. Adult skater, you can only do each jump twice, even single loops and single toeloops (and at least one of the two must be in combination).  So you always need to check the balanced program rules for your level.
