Painful feet! Help!
« on: February 12, 2017, 08:38:25 AM »
Arighty.

So I havent had a chance to go to a fitter yet or anything. But my budget is fairly limited. The used skates I bought make my feet intensely painful when i skate. I believe its because they may not fit properly. So my question is, should I get get a cheap pair that fit properly or try and wait it out and save up for something more expensive.

Thanks!
Check out my blog as an adult getting back into figure skating! All input is appreciated ^_^

You can try and fit them first yourself. If they're not too big, or too small most skaters can work this out on their own.
This will give you a bunch of things I've learned over the years.

I can tell you that it took me four pairs of boots to decide to go full customs that fit, and even then I have to tweak them. My advice is to try superfitting your boots first, before you go spend money on new ones.

Yes I'm in with the 90's. I have a skating blog. http://icedoesntcare.blogspot.com/
