Title: USA Hockey App
Post by: FigureSpins on August 18, 2015, 08:33:46 AM
I stumbled across USA Hockey's "Mobile Coach" app for portable devices and it's really good!  It's free (always a selling point) yet contains hoards of information for skaters at all ages and levels.  The video demonstrations and higher-level drills are extra but not too expensive ($5 for the basics)

An app like that would be really nice for Moves and other discipline testing, to augment the Rulebook and PSA Moves book.

Cool idea. Link on google play:

I think I will look at it just for fun.

Alas, I believe the roughly comparable USFSA apps cost money, and doesn't run on Android:

Maybe some of the other National organizations have apps.

Hey! Skatingoforums could have an app, that just directed your browser to skatingforums.com.

Could we have an AI coach app, running in a Holodeck setting? The Holodeck program should run simulcrums of all famous coaches.
